Dharma Rakshan

In the current age, Hindu dharma has been facing relentless attacks from the other religions who either want to kill us, enslave us or convert us. To ensure that our dharma remains strong in face of these attacks, we need to start at the ground levels i.e., from our families. 

The future generations r learning about secularism through our schools wherein they r taught about Akbar's religious tolerance, the glorious Moplah rebellion of Kerala nd how it was a fight against British, the great love of Shahjahan nd Mumtaz! From my personal experience, I can say that these topics had a profound impact on me during my school years nd made me believe that the Mughals were great. If not for my late grandfather's teachings, I'd have been reduced to another secular human! 

What I'm trying to say is that, we must teach the upcoming generations about the truth of Indian history. We must teach them about the bravery nd conquests Samudragupt, Chandragupt Maurya, Ashoka, Maharana Kumbha, Maharana Pratap, Raja Hemu, Maharajadhiraj Vikramaditya, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the sacrifices of Guru Tegh Bahadur, Dharmveer Sambhaji Maharaj, Baba Banda Singh among others...

Another major concern is the lack of knowledge about our shaastra and dharma! It's a miracle in the present day if a Hindu person even knows the Gayatri Mantra by heart! Hindus are unable to even read or recite the Ramraksha stotra, Hanuman Chalisa, Shree Ganesh atharvashirsha in the present day. Without knowing about our own dharma, we fall prey to the missionary and jehadi propaganda which makes us admire the "openness" and "acceptance" of those cults. We need to learn about our scriptures, our religious history, our sanskars, our sanskriti and our Devas if we want to be able to counter those who abuse our religion.

Trusting a political party like BJP or RSS is fine! But let's be honest, they are not doing much to protect Hindus. Now don't get me wrong! I support Modiji and Mahant Shri Yogi Adityanath. But their lack of action on the various cases of attacks on Hindus is concerning. To protect ourselves and our dharma, we need to learn shatra vidya. Learn to use a weapon and teach everyone in your house basic self defense techniques. Be strong enough to atleast take 2-3 enemies down before they kill you. "वीर भोग्य वसुंधरा" Remember this every time - The brave inherit the Earth. If we stay weak and silent, expecting the political leaders to fight for us, we are dead meat! Be like Raja Shivachhatrapati, Rani Tarabai - Wield you swords and cut down adharmis when they come to attack you! 

For Sanatan dharma to survive, we need to have the knowledge of both शस्त्र and शास्र
